‘State-run media’ reports on march

I find it fascinating that The Associated Press in its Jan. 26 report referred to the participants of a march as “anti-abortion activists,” “abortion opponents” and “anti-abortion demonstrators.” Funny, as shown by the photograph that accompanied the article, I thought those that participated in the march referred to themselves as “pro-life.” I am sure the use of The Associated Press’ wording was nothing more than sheer coincidence and there was no attempt on their part to play on the connotations of those words nor was there any agenda exposed on their part.

Rush Limbaugh refers to The Associated Press as the “state-run media.” Given the fair and balanced reporting of this event, golly, how could he ever think that?
