The St. Charles North Drill Team dominated this past weekend at the Team Dance Illinois Regional Dance Competition held at Naperville Central High School on February 3, 2013. The Varsity team competed in the Open Pom, Lyrical, and Open Dance categories in the 3A division. In each category they earned 1st Place in their division and a qualification to the TDI State Championship held on March 3, 2013 in Peoria at the Civic Center.

The Junior Varsity team achieved 1st place in the Open Pom and Open Dance categories, and 2nd place in the Lyrical category. Their scores were also rewarded with a qualification to the Team Dance Illinois State Championship. The Varsity team is coached by Nancy Franson-Prentiss and the Junior Varsity team is coached by Colleen Kobler. Both teams will be competing next at Batavia High School on February 10, 2013.
