Noted Painter Showcases Local Scenes

Noted St. Charles artist Nick Freeman is currently showing a selection of his recent work, including several paintings of local scenes, at the St. Charles Public Library through the month of February. His diverse subject matter, ranging from portraits to landscapes to scenes of everyday life, are founded on realism and use many of the same oil painting techniques as the great masters. Included are several scenes of St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia and the surrounding area. Freeman's work has been featured in several local and regional exhibits. He also provides workshops in representational oil painting methods and Art History.
