This Valentine's Day, give the gift of a love song to that someone special in your life. The award-winning Sweet Adelines Chorus, the Choral-Aires, is offering Singing Valentines throughout Chicago's western suburbs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, February 14. The Singing Valentine gift costs $40, which includes a love song performed in four-part harmony, a chocolate rose, a card, and a keepsake picture. Singing Valentines are also available on the phone, at a discounted cost of $20. The phone valentines can be purchased for loved ones anywhere in the United States.

More than 100 women from Illinois and Wisconsin sing tight harmonies a cappella (without instrumentation) with the Choral-Aires Chorus, a Sweet Adelines International medaling chorus, and the 2012 Lake Michigan Region 3 Champion. This program is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency. More information about the Chorus can be found at their website, http://choral-aires.com.
