About this Article

When the nine-member Century Strikers First Lego League team at Lincoln Middle School in Mount Prospect organized last fall, their challenge for the year was "Senior Solutions" -- identifying a problem older people faced and developing a practical, cost-effective solution. The team did such a good job of meeting the challenge, it took first in the state last month and will compete in April at the world competition in St. Louis.
