Armed robbers hit Addison Sprint store

Police are investigating the robbery of an Addison phone retailer on Thursday afternoon.

The armed robbery occurred around 2:20 p.m. at the Sprint store on the 1300 block of W. Lake St., according to a news release issued by the Addison Police Department.

Two black men entered the store, displayed a firearm and stole numerous items of merchandise from the business, police said. They were last seen leaving the business on foot.

Addison police canvassed the area surrounding the store and believe the men are no longer in the area. An investigation is ongoing.
