Why should the kids have all the fun? Gibby's Wine Den hosts a decidedly grownup Adult Snow Day at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, with wines paired with Graham's Fine Chocolates. Reservations are required, and spots may be limited, so call now. Tickets cost $30 per person; must be 21 to attend.

Goose Island travels to Pinstripes for a beer dinner starting at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7. Pairings include beet and goat cheese flatbread with Goose Island Mild Winter Ale; Asian popcorn shrimp with Goose Island Sofie; Burrata, squash, pomegranate and shaved fennel salad paired with Goose Island Matilda; rib-eye paired with Goose Island Pepe Nero; tres leches cake paired with Goose Island Pere Jacques. $50 per person, including tax and service charge.
