Meetings on Lake-Cook road work planned

Lake-Cook Road construction update meetings are set for 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31 with businesses and at 4:30 p.m. with residents at the Deerfield village hall, 850 Waukegan Road. Cook County Highway Department representatives will discuss their plans for upcoming construction associated with the widening and improvements of the Waukegan/Lake-Cook Road intersection near the Metra station. Work is planned to begin in March and be completed by the end of November. Construction will require lane reductions on Lake-Cook Road, which will cause significant traffic delays.
