Gay marriage would threaten our survival

text size: AAA

Referring to the court case that columnist Burt Constable cited from 1967, the Supreme Court said marriage is "one of the basic civil rights of man" and "fundamental to our very existence and survival," which is the description of marriage between a man and a woman. God gave the human race the great privilege of procreation. In order for our human race to keep our population at a number to maintain our civilization, a male and female need to cooperate in marriage to maintain this family. There is no life that results from a sexual relationship of two men and two woman. Even animals know this, and who told them?

We don't feel that those who want the label of homosexual need to have a special category; no special attention should be given. They should just be treated with respect, as we all want. As we know, our president supports "gay rights" and needed their votes, and Illinois was a part of that support.
