Trent's big night not enough for Willowbrook

Despite senior guard Yash Trent nearly registering a quadruple-double, Willowbrook lost 79-69 to Morton in the West Suburban Gold.

In Berwyn, Trent scored 20 points and distributed 10 assists with 7 steals and 7 rebounds. Josh Joiner added 20 points and Tiger Greene scored 18 for Willowbrook (9-11, 2-6).

West Chicago 54, Joliet Catholic 29:

Junior guard John Konchar hit nonconference visitor Joliet Catholic with a 12-point first quarter and finished with 28 points and 13 rebounds. Dean Pauley added 8 points for West Chicago (4-15).

St. Francis 57, Alleman 39:

At the Moline Shootout, St. Francis (15-3) was paced by Andrew Kimball's 21 points.

Timothy Christian 68, Stillman Valley 62:

Danny Leach scored 33 points with 4 assists and 4 steals to lead Timothy Christian to the overtime victory at the Eric Ottens Memorial Shootout in Fulton. The Trojans improved to 9-11.
