Cold temperatures are at least partially to blame in the deaths of two men whose bodies were found in DuPage County during the past week, according to the coroner’s office.
Lucas Lindley, 30, of Arlington Heights and Valentin Carlos, 46, of Glen Ellyn, both were found to have underlying medical conditions that were accentuated by cold exposure, the DuPage County coroner’s office said Wednesday.
Lindley was found late Sunday night inside a locked car in the 1000 block of Fountain View Drive in Carol Stream, and Carlos was found Monday morning by Lombard police in a parking lot in the 0-100 block of West Roosevelt Road.
Coroner’s officials said no other deaths since Monday appear to be because of cold weather.
