CARLINVILLE — Authorities hope toxicology tests determine why a student at a college in south-central Illinois died in his dormitory room.

Twenty-four-year-old Josh Ramza of Romeoville was a senior at Blackburn College in Carlinville when he was found dead Saturday in the Butler Hill dorm.

Blackburn College spokesman Peter Oswald says police have found no signs of foul play or "any obvious cause of death."

The Macoupin County coroner's office says an autopsy was performed Monday, and police are awaiting results of lab tests on Ramza's blood.

The college says they would have counselors available for any of the roughly 550 students enrolled there.
