Nee, Wood pace Wauconda


Lauren Nee scored 13 points and grabbed 5 rebounds, and teammate Jessie Wood scored 11 and had 9 rebounds, as Wauconda's girls basketball team defeated Round Lake 47-36 Tuesday at home.

Kelly Haberichter grabbed 10 rebounds for the Bulldogs, who improved to 5-14 and 2-7 in the North Suburban Prairie Division.

Morgin Evins led the Panthers (2-18, 0-8) with 16 points.

Warren 41, Mundelein 26: Kristin O'Brien scored 12 points and Alyssa Phillips added 10, as the Blue Devils improved their record to 11-8 and 5-3 in the North Suburban Lake Division.

Mundelein (7-13, 3-5) was led by Maggie Mahar, who scored 9 points. Becca Woit had 7.

Grayslake North 43, Woodstock North 37: Although both teams ended the first quarter even at 4 apiece, the Knights led at half 24-18 and would continue to dominate the second half to improve their record to 17-2 and 7-0 in the Fox Valley Fox Division.

Kendall Detweiler scored 16 points for the Knights, as she shot 7 of 9 from the free-throw line. Brittney Thibeaux had 13.
