Self-defense class for women:
The Mundelein Police Department is hosting a free class for women 18 and older who are interested in learning self-defense tactics. Women who are 17 years old will be allowed to attend with parental permission. The class will be on Tuesday nights from 6 to 8 p.m., Feb. 12 through March 5, at the Mundelein Police Department, 221 North Lake St. Students should wear loose fitting workout clothes.
