Insurance Auto Auctions hopes to move to this reclaimed gravel pit in East Dundee at the corner of Route 72 and Commonwealth Drive. But many in neighboring Barrington Hills don't want the business in town because they fear the business will pollute the groundwater with leaky fluids from the damaged cars it'll store on site.

East Dundee already held four hearings, but Barrington Hills Village President Robert Abboud says those hearings took place before it became known Insurance Auto Auctions had environmental issues in other states.
