• Jessica N. Korth, 22, of the 900 block of Carriage Way in Elgin, was charged Wednesday with two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, according to a police report. Korth delivered about $100 worth of methylenedioxypyrovalerone to an undercover police detective within 1,000 feet of a church about 7:30 p.m. on the 1000 block of Liberty Street, police said. Korth appeared in bond court Thursday morning, and her bail was set at $5,000. She is next due in court Jan. 23.
• A supermarket on the 900 block of North Liberty Street was burglarized around 3 a.m. Tuesday. Six register drawers, each containing about $200, were found empty. Video surveillance shows three people who appear to be male inside the store. It appears entry was gained through a roof vent.
