By Daily Herald report

Palatine Township Elementary District 15 will hold a forum from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, to discuss a proposal that would push back school start times by 40 minutes on Wednesdays to allow for the weekly professional development time required in the new teachers contract. The session will take place at Sundling Junior High, 1100 N. Smith St., Palatine. A group of parents that began a call and letter writing campaign on the topic requested the meeting to voice concerns. They'd prefer early dismissal on Fridays.
