On "Sarah Kuligowski Night," Grayslake Central's girls basketball team made sure it was still celebrating after the game.

The Rams held on to defeat visiting Johnsburg 35-33, extending their Fox Valley Conference Fox Division winning streak to 29 games. Carson Sparkman led the way for the two-time defending division champs with 13 points, while Morgan Dahlstrom added 9.

Grayslake Central (11-7, 4-0) trailed 10-8 after one quarter before outscoring Johnsburg 9-3 in the second quarter. The Rams took a 27-19 lead into the fourth.

Megan Landazzi paced the Skyhawks with 9 points.

Johnsburg was the last team to beat Grayslake Central in FVC Fox action, defeating the Rams 60-53 on Jan. 28, 2010.
