Royal Bunco Bash aids children's agencies

The Royal Bunco Bash, a ladies-only event, will be held Friday, Jan. 18, at The Church of Holy Apostles on Bull Valley Road in McHenry. Check-in will begin at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $30 per person. Attendees will be treated to bunco, pearl jewelry prizes, raffles, wine and dessert.

Three McHenry County nonprofit agencies are collaborating on this upcoming fundraiser to raise money for the youth they serve. Adult & Child Therapy Services, Court Appointed Special Advocates and Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association are working together to put on their third Royal Bunco Bash.

Bunco is a dice game that is very easy to learn. There will be a brief training session at the start of the event for anyone who is not familiar with the game.

Advance registration is required. All ladies in attendance must be 21 years or older. Proceeds will provide assistance to ACTS, CASA and NISRA and the McHenry County clients they serve.
