Cook County Forest Preserve to host photo meet-ups

The Forest Preserve District of Cook County will host a series of photo meet-ups designed for photographers of all skill levels. Sessions will take place at 10 a.m. on the fourth Saturday of each month at one of the district’s six nature centers or nearby location. The two at Crabtree Nature Center, located on Palatine Road west of Barrington Road, will take place March 23 and June 22. Each gathering will feature a naturalist leading a brief tour of the area, highlighting interesting and unusual plants, vistas and locations frequented by wildlife. Photographers can capture images and share tips and suggestions for getting the best shot. For more information, visit fpdcc.com.
