Only answer: Better raising of children
Only answer: Better raising of children
There has been a lot of talk lately about how we need to make stronger our gun control laws and eliminate access to assault weapons in order to cut down the terrible violence and slaughter we have been witnessing, as in Newtown, Conn.
But those laws will not necessarily be the answer. A terrorist or an individual, whether sane or insane, who wishes to kill others will always find some way to do it, no matter what restrictions there may be in the law making it difficult for him to obtain a weapon. He will find the necessary weapon sooner or later, and he will kill, no matter what the laws say.
The only answer is for parents to be more thoughtful and meaningful as they raise their children, and to teach their children the value of leading a good and moral life. But even then there will always be those who will stray and find ways to kill, and there is nothing we or our laws can do to stop this.
