BACOA and The Garlands sponsor lecture series

The Harper College Continuing Education Lifelong Learning Institute and the Barrington Area Council on Aging and The Garlands of Barrington are hosting a lecture series through May, 2013.

Seven different lecture topics will be covered in the series. The courses include: The Year in Review; Elizabethan Experience; Short Story Treasures; “Showboat”; Book review: “We Will Survive”; Rene Magritte: Artist, Surrealist, Enchanter; Nelle Reagan: Optimistic Woman.

Classes will meet at The Garlands of Barrington, 1000 Garlands Lane, Barrington. All classes meet for one day only, except for Short Story Treasures, which meets for 10 sessions. Cost ranges from free to $15.
