'55 Ford pickup sets a leisurely pace

After a two year search, Jeff Grubba of Arlington Heights said the factory Mountain Green paint and patina on this truck sold him on the purchase.

The Ford has survived nearly six decades on the road because it has spent much of its existence in the dry Arizona climate.

Ford made about 125,000 F100 pickup trucks in 1955.

The truck is shifted using a three-speed manual transmission.

The old Ford Power King V-8 under hood produces 130 horsepower.
