Dr. Harold Banser, the first superintendent of Adlai E. Stevenson High School District 125, died Tuesday in Peru, Illinois at the age of 84.
Memorial services will be held Saturday for Jose M. Martinez,who served Ela Township as a laborer and highway commissioner for more than 30 years.
Charles Hendricks was a former Buffalo Grove trustee.
Nancy Pesz, a 20-year veteran of the Wauconda Unit District 118 school board, died in 2012 at age 76.
Robert Devery was remembered as a dedicated engineer and a fun-loving husband. He served as Wauconda's village engineer before passing away Wednesday at age 60.
Longtime Fox Lake resident Bob Irwin is remembered for his love of family and community involvement. Irwin, 80, was surrounded by family members when he died after a lengthy illness.
