Round Lake honors retiring physician

Dr. Min H. Lin recently announced his retirement from his physicians practice after a career spanning five decades and with more than 30 years practicing in an office in Round Lake. He decided to retire, he said, because it was time.

“My wife retired two years ago so it was time to join her,” he said.

The practice that he maintained on Nippersink Road has been prospering over the years and will continue with two additional physicians, Dr. Gini Dutt and another physician who is anticipated to become a member of the practice in January.

Dec. 1 was declared Dr. Min H. Lin day in the village by Round Lake Village President Jim Dietz in recognition of Lin’s long, prosperous career providing medical care.

“Dr. Lin will be missed but we know that Dr. Dutt will continue the tradition as a good family physician here in Round Lake,” Dietz said.

The proclamation extends an “expression of esteem and best wishes” and states that it is offered as testimony to the high regard in which Lin was held in the village.
