About this Article

The Northwest Suburban Leadership Team has teens who travel to Third World countries to help impoverished children, tutor younger students during their lunch periods and who raise money for good causes in their own backyards. This year's winners are from Buffalo Grove, Hersey, Palatine, Barrington, Fremd, Hoffman Estates and Elk Grove high schools.
