New associate judges named
Two Lake County attorneys have been selected as the next associate judges of the 19th Judicial Circuit, Lake County judicial officials announced Friday. Elizabeth M. Rochford, a sole practitioner from Lake Forest, and Joseph V. Salvi, of Hawthorn Woods, a partner in the law firm of Salve, Salvi & Wifler, received the necessary votes to serve as associate judges, according to the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts. “We congratulate these well respected and experienced attorneys,” Chief Judge Fred Foreman said, “and we look forward to their joining the Lake County bench very soon.” Foreman will administer the oath of office to Rochford on Dec. 27 at 8:45 a.m. in Courtroom C-201 at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan, and to Salvi on Jan. 2 at 8:45 a.m. in Courtroom C-201.
