Schaumburg library offers 'snack attack' program

Children ages 8-12 are invited to the “Snack Attack” program from 10-11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 3 in the Craft Room of the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg.

Participants in this interactive workshop will learn about simple and healthy snack ideas, take the “Taste Trivia Challenge,” and create healthy treats. All will receive recipes and cooking tips for making smart food choice to combat hunger. Some ingredients may have exposure to nuts. Registration and a $5 per person fee are required for this program. Register at the kidsZone Programs and Games Desk on the first floor of the library.
