The new Red Gate Bridge provides an additional crossing over the Fox River just off Route 31 near St. Charles North High School.

The bridge cost $30 million to build. A pedestrian walkway is still under construction beneath the portion of the bridge used by vehicles. The walkway is set to open in April.
