Youth, adult dodgeball tournaments in Schaumburg

The National Amateur Dodgeball Association (NADA) and dodgeball enthusiasts will take over the Sport Center, 1141 W. Irving Park Road in Schaumburg, on Jan. 2 and 5 during the Winter Nationals Indoor Dodgeball Championships. The youth competition is set for Jan. 2 for boys and girls in grades 4 to 12. Check-in will begin at 3:30 p.m. with matches following at 4 p.m. The registration deadline is Dec. 20 and the fee is $105 for a team of six to 10 players. The adult competition for ages 18 and up will be held Jan. 5. Check-in will begin at 1 p.m. with matches following at 2 p.m. Men’s, women’s and co-rec divisions are available.
