Hanover Twp. to offer free disaster training

The Hanover Township Department of Emergency Services will offer free Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays Feb. 5 through April 2.

The classes will take place at the township's Senior Center, 240 S. Route 59, Bartlett. The CERT program educates people about disaster preparedness and trains them in basic disaster response skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization and disaster medical operations.
