Sun City Huntley Tollway Expansion Noise Meeting Dec. 13
A town hall style meeting will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13 in the Drendel Ballroom at Prairie Lodge in Sun City Huntley.
Petitions will be presented at that time to members of the Tollway Authority asking that a sound barrier be constructed between I-90 and adjacent Sun City homes.
With the I-90 expansion, the addition of more truck traffic and the clearing of all trees, shrubs, grass and natural berms, residents can no longer open their windows or use their yards. We are not against the expansion. We are just asking to be able to enjoy the property we purchased for our twilight years.
