Arlington Heights cultural council hosts artists’ reception
The Northwest Cultural Council will hold an artists’ reception and poetry reading from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at the Arlington Green Executive Centre, 2101 S. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. The council is celebrating its 24th anniversary and the publication of its first “chapbook,” a collection of work from more than 50 area artists and poets. Admission is free. The art exhibit will be on display from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays through Monday, Jan. 7.
