Coach Jim Hinkle will retire at the end of the boys basketball season at the age of 70. He says he has coached for 39 seasons because the players keep him young. "They give me a lot to look forward to each day."

"My whole life has been dedicated to other people," head coach Jim Hinkle says. "Whatever years I have left are gonna be for me." The 70-year-old coach will retire at the end of the boys basketball season at Jacobs High School in Algonquin.

Hinkle says he will spend time at the swimming pool instead of the gym.
