About this Article

Frank and Kim Alonso's pet bird, a cockatiel named Tango, went missing Thanksgiving Day and ended up back in their Lombard home a few days later after being chased by a hawk and eventually rescued and cared for by a guest in the Westin Hotel. "It was a lot of one-in-a-million shots bundled into one," Frank Alonso said.
