Donate winter clothing at CLC

The Criminal Justice Club at the College of Lake County is holding a Winter Clothes Drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21. All donations will be distributed to surrounding homeless shelters and orphanages.

The drive will be held at the College of Lake County, inside the C building. For those who are not familiar with the college, there is a detailed map of the campus as soon as one turns into any of the college’s entry roads.

The club will have an area set up in front of the doors of the C building to make drop-offs more convenient. Those making donations can pull up right by the doors and drop off items. Assistance with heavy boxes and bags will be available.

Winter items for any ages will be accepted. Ideal items to bring include gently used jackets, hats, gloves, scarfs, etc.

For information, or if you’d like to donate but the time window assigned to the event conflicts with your schedule, contact Victor Zepeda at (815) 900-6011.
