Palatine approves Walmart’s request to sell beer and wine
Palatine this week approved Walmart’s request to sell packaged beer and wine at the retail giant’s store at 1555 N. Rand Road near Dundee Road.
Sales will be permitted between the hours of 9 a.m. and midnight, seven days a week. The liquor area will include access restriction controls, and the registers won’t authorize sales outside the designated hours.
Palatine officials said all the surrounding area Walmarts already have liquor licenses to sell alcohol.
