Palatine Park District to present 'Baby Wants Candy'

Baby Wants Candy is a completely improvised musical that will be performed at Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center, 150 E. Wood Street, Palatine, on Saturday, January 5 at 8:00pm. The show begins when the audience shouts out the titles of a musical that has never been performed before. Accompanied by a full band, the first title the group hears becomes the title and theme for the evening's completely improvised 60 minute musical. Cast members of Baby Wants Candy create the dialogue, lyrics, and even some dance choreography on the spot.

Baby Wants Candy has performed over 1,700 completely improvised musicals to sold out theaters across the world, from Singapore to Edinburgh. Baby Wants Candy has received rave reviews including “Best Comedy in Chicago” – Chicago Magazine; “Chicago's most consistently funny and crowd-pleasing show” – Chicago Sun Times; “A fully entertaining, gone-bonkers aesthetic” – Chicago Tribune; and “Don't Miss!
