A current problem District 300 students face is the classroom cuts and sizes. Should District 300 be allowed to change the learning environment in order to save money?
An average classroom should have a capacity of between 15 and 22 students. While the district continues to cut and increase the classroom sizes, students continue to lack the attention they need from the teacher. District 300 students have trouble focusing on the lectures because the teachers cannot have one-on-one time with the students.
Also, the district is beginning to cut elective classes, which is a way students use this time to relieve stress from their core classes.
From the look of it, District 300 cares more about saving money rather than providing a healthy learning environment for their students.
