Lombard Police Department Releases Statistics From Extra Grant Enforcements
The extra enforcement, which included night seat belt enforcement, day seat belt
enforcement and DUI enforcement produced the following statistics:
• Vehicles stopped: 166
• DUI arrests: 5
• Seat belt citations: 55
• Child safety seat citations: 2
• Warrant/arrests: 2
• Suspended/revoked licenses: 3
• Uninsured citations: 14
• Speeding citations: 21
• Consumption of alcohol by minors arrests: 3
• No valid license arrests: 1
• Moving violation citations: 5
• Non-moving violation citations: 6
The Lombard Police will also be doing extra enforcements during the Christmas and
New Year’s holidays. Please refer to the Village website, www.villageoflombard.org for
details regarding those extra enforcements.
