A 32-year-old Hanover Park man has been charged with burglary and theft after authorities found three stolen GPS units in his possession.

Hanover Park police stopped Jason Ozbirn, of the 6800 block of Longmeadow Lane, for a traffic violation about 2:40 a.m. Saturday at Indian Hill and Barrington Road, police said, and arrested him for having no valid driver's license.

During an inventory search of his car, police said, officers found GPS units stolen Nov. 30 from three vehicles on Northway Drive and Walnut Avenue. Ozbirn's fingerprints also were connected to a July 2010 burglary on the 8000 block of Carrolton Court, according to police.

A Cook County judge set Ozbirn's bail at $35,000. His next court date is Dec. 4 in Rolling Meadows.
