Mundelein man arrested on McHenry County drug warrants

A Mundelein man was arrested Friday on drug charges by members of the U.S. Marshal’s Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force, the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office announced.

Rolando Gonzalez, 19, of the 26000 block of Oak Avenue, was arrested on warrants for drug conspiracy, two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, and two counts possession of a controlled substance, officials said. Bond was set at $250,000 and Gonzalez was given a court date of Dec. 12.

He was the fourth suspect in a narcotics investigation where two gang members and one gang associate were arrested on drug-related charges in Woodstock, on Nov. 15, after an undercover investigation of the sale of cocaine in McHenry County, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

Jovani Lucio, 22, of the 200 block of Gross Street in Mundelein, and Abel Aguilar, 21, and Rafael Aguilar Jr., 25, both of the 300 block of University Street in Harvard, were charged with unlawful criminal calculated drug conspiracy, delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance after they were seen conducting a narcotics transaction, a sheriff’s news release said.
