WW South denies West Aurora
West Aurora fell behind by 18 points after one quarter, then outscored Wheaton Warrenville South the rest of the way Thursday.
But the damage was done, and the Blackhawks lost their DVC opener 66-52.
The Blackhawks (4-3, 0-1), who had a 3-game winning streak snapped, put four players in double figures: Alexis Wiggins (14 points, 3 steals), Taylor Jacobsen (11 points, 6 rebounds), Erin Jacobsen (12 points, 3 assists) and Liz Skaggs (10 points, 9 rebounds).
Rosary 45, St. Edward 38: The Royals evened their record at 4-4 with a road win Thursday.
Sophomore Quincy Kellett led Rosary with 13 points. Rachel Choice scord 9 and Emily Bakala 6.
Aurora Christian 51, IMSA 33: The Lady Eagles (4-2) were led by Alyssa Andersen with 13 points, Alex Hultine with 10, Hannah Dean’s 8 points and 4 rebounds and 8 points, 9 rebounds and 5 steals from Natasha Brown. Claressa Hardin had 8 points for IMSA.
