Helen Rappaport has canceled a planned appearance Thursday at Oakton Community College to talk about how she survived being in the World War II death camp where Nazi physician Josef Mengele was infamous for torturing and killing Jewish prisoners during the 1940s in the name of "science." Oakton officials hope to reschedule the appearance in the spring.
