B&K Power in Marengo supports Small Business Saturday

B&K Power Equipment Inc., 17009 Harmony Road, Marengo will participate in the third annual Small Business Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 24. Refreshments will be available throughout the day. Drawings will be held every two hours.

Small Business Saturday is a day for dedicating a portion of holiday shopping to local, independently owned small businesses.

American Express, the founding sponsor of Small Business Saturday, created the national program in 2010 in response to small business owners’ most pressing need: more demand for their products and services. Last year, more than 100 million consumers “shopped small” generating millions of dollars in sales for local merchants and organizers are expecting even greater participation this year.

B&K Power Equipment Inc. is a member of Independent We Stand, a national small business movement powered in part by Stihl Inc. and a partner in the Small Business Saturday event.
