U.S. did not ignore Benghazi attack

text size: AAA

On Nov. 13 the Daily Herald printed another letter about the attacks on the embassy in Benghazi. The latest said, "Cries for help from embassy ignored." It was another letter that was devoid of truth about the situation.

The CIA, NSA, and the DOD have all issued preliminary reports on the attack. The CIA report stated that within 25 minutes they had responded to the attacks — 25 minutes!

The letter writer then questions why the President and Secretary of State would ignore these cries for help. The answer is simple; they didn't ignore the cries for help.

All of this has been reported in the national media.

Shame on the Daily Herald for printing this type of letter.
