Waukegan Parks congratulate Turkey Trot winners

The Waukegan Park District held its annual Turkey Trot on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at Belvidere Park. The event had 160 registered participants and collected nine bins of nonperishable food items that will be donated to the Holy Family Food Pantry. First-place winners were as follows:

• 7-12 months female: Minnie Mendez

• 13-23 months female: Lola Jondan

• 13-23 months male: Isaiah Hunter

• 2-3 year female: Bella Ritter-Robson

• 2-3 year male: Livy Howard

• 4-5 female: Elizabeth Perez

• 4-5 male: Anthony Williams

• 6-7 female: Myisha Noble

• 6-7 male: Manuel Orduna

• 8-10 female: Noemi Padilla

• 8-10 male: Haris Matchalouas

• 11-13 female: Unique Geentz

• 11-13 male: Noah Jackson

• 14-17 female: Elizabeth Barajas

• 14-17 male: Jakob Martinez

• 18-23 male: Alex Garcia

• 24-29 female: Nancy Manjarrez

• 24-29 male: Melchor Orduna

• 30-39 female: Horalia Mendoza

• 30-39 male: Adrian Orduņa

• 40-49 female: Kristi Streit

• 40-49 male: Salvador Orduna

• 50-59 male: Ronald McKee

• 60+ female: Maria Hinojosa

• 60+ male: Marcelino Diaz

(There were no runners in the 7-12 months male; 18- to 23-year-old female; and 50- to 59-year-old female races.)
