About this Article

Santa Claus has a safe place to visit with children this year in Geneva, thanks to volunteers from the Geneva Fire Department and donations from several businesses. The house — a former construction trailer, estimated to be 40 to 50 years old — was in trouble. Geneva Deputy Fire Chief Jerry Koster noticed a big hole in the roof, and two dozen firefighters later worked on fixing it.
