TL's harvest maki roll

The tastes of autumn fill chef Shawn Li's Golden Age maki roll prepared especially for Thanksgiving week. The maki roll is handcrafted tempura-fried sweet potato topped with tiger shrimp and drizzled with spicy mayo pumpkin sauce. The roll costs $9.95 and is available for lunch, dinner and carryout. Turkey testicle festival

There's a celebration of a different kind of happening at Timothy O'Toole's. It's a turkey testicle festival complete with a turkey testicle eating contest at 9 p.m. the Wednesday before Turkey Day. The winner takes home a turkey to cook for their Thanksgiving feast. Food specials that day include a bucket of balls — deep fried turkey testicles — for $6, the open-faced hot turkey sandwich for $9.99, and the Thanksgiving dinner plate for $11.99.
