Comedy show to benefit South Elgin group

Submitted by Cal’s All Star Angel Foundation

On Sunday, Nov. 18, Zanies Comedy Club in Rosemont will present the Fab Four of Chicago Comedy’s 30th Anniversary Show to benefit South Elgin-based Cal’s All Star Angel Foundation.

Hosted by WIND radio’s Steve Cochran, the show will feature comedy from Mike Toomey, John Dacosse and Tim Benker, three guys celebrating three decades of performing stand up and, coincidentally, remaining friends. The fourth member is Maroon Raccoon, who will make a special appearance.

The doors open at 6 p.m. with preshow music provided by Jordan Benker and Chris Dacosse. The 90-minute show begins at 7 p.m. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and other prizes to be given away.

Tickets are $20, with all door proceeds going to Cal’s All Star Angel Foundation, which grants wishes and provides financial support to kids fighting cancer, as well as their families. Learn more about their work at calsangels.org.

This is a 21-and-older show, and there is a two-item minimum at all Zanies shows.
